About me
I’m Rokas, a Lithuanian psychologist based in Berlin, offering English-language counselling for individuals dealing with anxiety, stress, trust issues, or relationship difficulties. For two years before moving here, I worked as a clinical psychologist in Lithuania with both teenagers and adults — experience that taught me how differently change can look depending on where someone is in life. Like many of my clients, I know what it means to start over in a new city, and that understanding shapes how I show up in the room.
I draw much of my inspiration from existential questions and from a lifelong bond with nature, a connection nurtured by my grandfather throughout my childhood. Time spent in nature and in reflection has shaped the way I perceive human experience—encouraging openness, presence, and a deeper appreciation for the complexity of our inner and outer worlds. These influences inform my therapeutic perspective and help me meet each client with genuine curiosity and understanding.
Using evidence-based counselling techniques, I tailor every session to each client's unique circumstances, challenges, and goals. With each person who comes to me for help, I try to understand how they see their own life — what suffering can be eased, and what difficulties may simply need to be accepted.
